Behavior 
White-sided Dolphins, which often travel in large groups of a thousand or more, are fast swimmers and very active above the water. They love to bow or wake ride, and have a habit of appearing quickly, almost out of nowhere. They are also known for their breaching, somersaulting and porpoising.
